For the past four years, GUC has hosted monthly Wellness Workshops in the city of Compton and neighboring communities. These workshops feature yoga, breathwork, sound baths, snacks, water, and raffles with prizes including Lululemon yoga mats, Growing Up Compton merchandise, and Raising Cane’s gift baskets. Our vision is to build community first, then open Compton’s first yoga studio.
